Tavera has been involved in public safety and compliance issues for his entire
career, which qualifies him to help provide guidance as a member of the Board

1978 through June 2017, Mr. Tavera has served as a member of the El Segundo

Tavera's retirement from the El Segundo Police Department, in November 2017, he
