The Arcview Group’s Investor Pitch Forum, held at
the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada from April 30th to May 2nd, brought
together over 200 high-net investors with cannabis thought leaders and
companies at the forefront of the cannabis sector.
Andrew Duffy, CEO of Best in Grow tells Investor
ideas, “Jake my co-founder and I became fast friends in our sophomore year at
Harvard University where I was studying Behavioral Economics and Jake was
studying Public Policy and Social Psychology. We graduated in 2016 and as most
wayward Harvard Graduates do, we ended up in finance. I was in big hedge fund
and he was in private equity. “
Talking about its beginnings he says, “We got tired
of that pretty quickly so we decided to move out to Colorado to get into the nascent cannabis space for all
the opportunities it offered and the incredible growth we were seeing. We
started Best in Grow with a mission that was pretty simple; helping cannabis
brands make better products and helping dispensaries pick the right products to
sell. We do that by aggregating feedback from the industry stakeholders; most
importantly the budtenders.”
