Organigram
Holdings Inc., the parent company of Organigram Inc., a leading licensed
producer of cannabis, announced the release of an immersive 360-degree
virtual facility experience, highlighting innovative indoor production
practices at its Moncton, New Brunswick campus.
"We
are told time and time again by industry experts, analysts and investors who
visit that our production facility is precedent-setting for indoor cannabis
production," Organigram CEO Greg Engel said. "We're proud of the
innovation and engineering that's gone into the design; our geographic location
makes it challenging for many visitors to visit in person, so we're eager to
offer them an inside look from wherever they may be in the world."
The
tour, available as an immersive 360 experience for both Android and iOS-enabled
devices, takes viewers through Organigram's entire production process, from
propagation to packaging. Facility infrastructure including mechanical
controlling, irrigation and the campus' 40-megawatt substation are also
highlighted.

learned a lot since beginning production back in 2014. We're proud to have
established industry best practices and have modified our production to
maximize both available space and efficiency. Our three-tiered growing model is

SLANG
Worldwide, a global cannabis consumer packaged goods company, and Trulieve
Cannabis, a Florida-based national cannabis company, announced a new strategic partnership to offer
cannabis patients in Florida access to leading cannabis brands in Trulieve's
dispensaries across the state. Pursuant to the partnership, Trulieve has an
exclusive license to SLANG's extensive portfolio through its U.S. subsidiary,
National Concessions Group, Inc. (doing business as Organa Brands).

over 180,000 registered medical marijuana patients, a figure that has tripled
since 2017, Florida represents one of the most significant cannabis markets in
the United States. Trulieve is responsible for consistently producing and
distributing between 60% and 80% of cannabis in the state, per the Florida
Department of Health.

Kitchen Inc., an innovative and leading-edge cannabis wellness company, announced a joint venture with Eximius Coffee LLC to
launch a line of cannabis and CBD infused coffee beverages and infused single
serve grounds suitable for steeping.
Eximius is the third largest coffee importer in the U.S. with products
sold in retail grocery stores throughout the U.S. under a variety of brand
names, including Cappio™. The economics
of the transaction will see an equal sharing of costs and revenues between the
joint venture partners.
The
cold brew coffee market is on a tear, growing 12% in volume and 14% in retail
sales in 2017 according to Beverage Marketing Corp., New York.
The
cannabis infused cold brew coffees will be manufactured at The Oil Plant GABY's
licensed manufacturing facility in Santa Rosa, California using high grade
quality oil extractions for which TOP has become known. TOP's oil extracts became immortalized in the
film, Weed the People, a documentary by Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein which tells
the real-life experiences of families who used oil manufactured by TOP to treat
their children's cancer, and realized amazing success.
The
cannabis-infused coffees will in turn be distributed to licensed retailers
(also known as dispensaries) by Sonoma Pacific Distribution, a licensed
distributor that is currently in the process of being acquired by GABY as
announced in the Company's press release issued October 23, 2018.
The
Hemp derived CBD infused cold brew coffee will be manufactured by Xtract Xperts
using hemp CBD oil extracted in their facility in Oregon and will be launched
into the mainstream market, as legally allowable, for distribution using GABY's
relationships and infrastructure.
Liht
Cannabis Corp. announced that it has received its second
certification for both of its cultivation facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada. The
certification was issued by Certified Kind, an industry equivalent program to
USDA Organic Certification.
On
January 16, 2019, the Company received its second organically grown
certification, from Certified Kind whose rules have been modeled after (IFOAM)
International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements - Norms for Organic
Production and Processing, the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) standards,
and the organic standards of the European Union, Canada, and Mexico.
Certified
Kind performs rigorous inspections, verifying compliance to the Certified Kind
rules of processes and production. They sample test for over 200+ pesticide
residues.
The
US federal government will not allow organic certification of cannabis or
cannabis products as a result producers need their own certification standard.
Growers and edible producers are not legally allowed to use the term
"Organic" to label and market their products. Certified Kind was
started as an alternative to USDA Organic certification.
Certified
Kind offers an effective and transparent way for cannabis producers to prove
their commitment to earth-friendly production practices that meet, and in some
cases, exceed USDA Organic standards.
Ovation
