S1 Corporation (NASDAQ:SONE) climbed $2.13 (29.87%) to $9.26 and made a new 52-week high of $9.43 after ACI Worldwide Inc. (ACIW) offered to acquire S1 Corp. (SONE) for $540 million, as the software company looks to boost its presence in the enterprise payment software industry.
CARDIOME PHARMA CORP (NASDAQ:CRME gained $1.25 (28.80%) to $5.59 after the company announced it has granted consent for the transfer of rights for the development and commercialization of vernakalant (IV) in Canada, Mexico and the United States, from Astellas US LLC, the U.S. subsidiary of Astellas Pharma Inc., to Merck & Co., Inc.
QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIK) surged $0.85 (23.68%) to $4.44. The Company announced the receipt of the first volume production order for VEE and DPO technologies for the new Pantech Tablet Phone dual-core Snapdragon smartphone which has been released this month in South Korea.
