Select Comfort Corp. (NASDAQ:SCSS) surged 3.30 (20.47%) to close at $19.42 after the company said that it earned $17.2 million, or 31 cents a share on revenue of $199.6 million in its third-quarter, surpassing analysts' estimates of 27 cents per share on revenue of $182.3 million.
The company also projects to earn 99 cents to $1.01 a share for the full fiscal year, lifted from its previous guidance of 90 to 96 cents a share.
NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTCT) closed with an impressive gain 2.63 (19.86%) to end the day at $15.87 after the company said that it earned 24 cents a share on revenue of $72.6 million in its third quarter, ahead of analysts' estimates of 22 cents a share on revenue of 69.89 million.
