major shareholder Russian Standard Corp that, which would help the
company to meet its near-term financial obligations.
Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMLN) shares rose 3.14
(13.70%) to close at $26.06 on reports from Bloomberg that the company
has been looking for a buyer after rejecting an unsolicited bid from
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.
