GBT Technologies Inc. (OTC PINK:GTCH) has announced that it plans to upgrade the power management system of its qTerm human vital signs device to enable longer working time. The company’s R&D efforts “are evaluating different types of batteries and supporting electronics to prolong usage time,” and having the device remain in a default sleep mode and “wake up upon request for vitals measurement.” A quote from the press release reads:
“…we want to make sure that users will be able to enjoy qTerm for a reasonable amount of time before replacing or recharging its battery. We are always working on our technology improvements and enhancements to bring it to the highest standards and results for our customers. Especially with medical technology, it is imperative to ensure reasonable operating time to achieve a device's long operating time, high performance and accurate results."
Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has announced the acquisition of cloud analytics services firm Core Complete. According to the press release, Core Complete “enables digital transformations with cloud-native solutions that deliver artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning-infused business outcomes, to serve a diverse client base across the US and UK, with particular focus on supply chain, retail and financial services.” Sanjeev Vohra, global lead for Accenture Applied Intelligence, explained:
"Over the past year we’ve seen cloud adoption increase, enabling organizations to unlock the enterprise value from data and AI strategy at speed. Core Compete’s approach to cloud analytics transformation helps us further accelerate time to value for our clients, giving them the right tools, strategy and talent to reap the full benefits of being data-driven."
Global AI in Computer Vision to Reach $95.08B by 2027
Research published by ReportLinker finds that the global AI in Computer Vision market is expected to grow from $4.643 billion in 2019 to $95.08 billion by 2027 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 46.9 percent in the forecast period 2020-2027.
