Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD) has signed new joint venture agreements with the Saudi state-owned mining company Ma’aden for two prospective exploration projects comprising the Jabal Sayid South and Umm Ad Damar license areas in Saudi Arabia. This significantly broadens the company’s copper base in the country. Barrick’s President and CEO, Mark Bristow, said:

“Recent high-grade intercepts from underground drilling within the existing Jabal Sayid mine are demonstrating potential for further orebody extensions. In addition, positive initial results from nearby new exploration targets are indicating further growth prospects, which are being aggressively pursued by the exploration team. This intense focus on discovery will be applied to the expanded portfolio through the application of the latest geological concepts and exploration technologies.”

Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (NYSE:OR) has posted an update on its fourth quarter 2022 deliveries, revenues, cash margin and recent asset advancements. Highlights include the earning of about 25,023 attributable gold equivalent ounces (GEOs), and revenues of roughly $61.9 million during the fourth quarter. Sandeep Singh, President and CEO of Osisko, said:

“Our GEOs earned, year-over-year, increased by 12% in 2022 but fell slightly short of the low end of our guidance of 90,000 ounces. This was partly due to the Eagle mine still working towards steady-state production and the Mantos mine facing delays in the ramp up of their mill expansion. That extra growth will flow into upcoming quarters and we expect significant upward momentum in deliveries from both mines going forward.”

Seabridge Gold Inc. (NYSE:SA) has announced that its 2022 core drilling discovered a large, well-mineralized breccia pipe beneath the historic Bronson Slope skarn deposit at its 100 percent-owned Iskut project in northwestern British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The company’s Chairman and CEO, Rudi Fronk, said:

“The next step is to locate the source of the pipe. All the evidence we have gathered as well as the historical precedents tell us the source is a gold-copper porphyry intrusive similar in age to those we discovered at our nearby KSM project. We have also identified other related opportunities at Iskut within a regional trend that, similar to our KSM district, could host multiple porphyry deposits. Our plan for 2023 is to prioritize locating the source of the breccia pipe and carrying what we learn across the rest of our large Iskut property".

Endeavour Silver Corp. (NYSE:EXK) has reported its full year 2022 production of 5,963,445 silver ounces (oz) and 37,548 gold oz, and fourth quarter production of 1,830,835 silver oz and 10,370 gold oz. Dan Dickson, the company’s CEO, said:

“We are very pleased to have exceeded the top end of the 2022 production guidance, with full year silver equivalent production improving by 9% year over year and fourth quarter silver equivalent production up 21% over the prior year period. Fourth quarter throughput and grades at Guanaceví exceeded plan, contributing to the significant out-performance of the Guanaceví operations during 2022. I am extremely proud of the operations group collective desire to deliver safe production on a daily basis. The results over the past 2 years is a reflection of a dynamic team that is engaged and committed. Again, I am very proud of our team.”
