Going Green - Investing in Renewable Energy- Fashionable or Necessary?
We started RenewableEnergyStocks.com® years ago based on a long term philosophy in the energy sector and also influenced by issues like Homeland Security that it was only a matter of time that the transition in energy technology would take place as oil prices became higher and the countdown to a diminishing oil supply got closer . We knew it could be years – up to ten maybe- but it was inevitable that the transition would come as the technology improved and the costs for producing renewable and clean energy came down. Throw in the global growth engine fuelled by China and India and the resulting environmental damage and accelerated climate changes and we have the perfect climate so to speak or companies to go green and so investors must follow.
In fairness, there has been a global following for the sector for some time, but it has now reached the minds and trading accounts of mainstream investors that aren’t all investing with their hearts.
It is an exciting time as the momentum is coming from government and industry to make this revolutionary change .
We like to pat ourselves on the back that we were here and around before the copy cat sites for Renewableenergystocks.com jumped on the bandwagon. We are still the leader on Google, Yahoo , MSN and AOL if you are searching for info on “renewable energy stocks”
We think our upcoming Greentech Investor Conference "Investing in the Environment: Global Warming, Global Warning – Investing Today for Tomorrow’s Future" will be another milestone for our site in terms of providing research resources and information for investors and industry looking at the sector
Register early- its free – not like some of the conferences where visitors have to pay- this is free to investors – like most of our info

But as always , remember even if you are doing what you think is the right thing by investing in Green companies, there is risk and you may loose a little green if you don’t do your homework .
