Rio Tinto Group (NYSE:RIO) has announced that it has delivered first ore from the Gudai-Darri iron ore mine as it “brings online its first greenfield mine in the Pilbara, Western Australia, in more than a decade.” Simon Trott, Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Chief Executive, said:

"The commissioning of Gudai-Darri represents the successful delivery of our first greenfield mine in over a decade, helping to support increased output of Pilbara Blend, our flagship product. It sets a new standard for Rio Tinto mine developments through its deployment of technology and innovation to enhance productivity and improve safety.”

Thesis Gold Inc. (TSXV:TAU) has commenced a fully-funded exploration program that will include up to 50,000 metres of core drilling at its flagship 178km² Ranch Gold-Copper Project in the Golden Horseshoe of north-central British Columbia, Canada. This will include expansion drilling targeting 2021 discovery zones and along-strike extensions, as well as exploration drilling targeting anomalous areas generated during the 2021 surface exploration program. The company’s President and CEO, Ewan Webster, said:

"We are extremely excited to begin this major 50,000-metre drilling campaign. Our group has evaluated all datasets collected last year and the technical team has developed many prospective targets that will be drill-tested in the coming months. Altiplano Metals Inc. (TSXV:APN) has reported May 2022 operating results from the Farellon Copper-Gold mine near La Serena, Chile. Highlights include the production of approximately 3,432 tonnes of mineralized copper-gold material – 2,750 tonnes were shipped and processed, and revenue of $377,545 USD for the month after processing costs, representing the highest monthly revenue figure recorded since Q1 2018.

Slave Lake Zinc Corp. (CSE:SLZ) has announced that it has strategically expanded its land position by staking 76.25 sq. km. contained in ten mineral claim blocks surrounding its original O'Connor Lake lease. The company’s CEO, Ritch Wigham, explained:
