SIX Exchange to List XRP-Based ETP, Invesco Launching Blockchain ETF on LSE, Samsung Reveals Crypto Wallet for S10, German Finance Ministry Explores Blockchain Security Regulation and Dubai’s Emaar to Debut Digital Currency

The Block reports that Switzerland’s biggest stock exchange, SIX, will list an XRP based exchange-traded product (ETP). The ETP, which will be traded under the ticker symbol AXRP, is being launched by crypto startup Amun AG.
U.S. financial services and investment management firm Invesco (NYSE:IVZ) will launch a blockchain ETF on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) today. Invesco has partnered with Elwood Asset Management for the venture. Investment Week quotes Elwood CEO Bin Ren:
“Blockchain has been around for a decade, but many people still see it just as the technology behind cryptocurrencies. The true potential, however, may extend far beyond that. We are beginning to see the technology being used by financial services companies in particular, but we expect greater application of blockchain technology across a wide range of industries. We believe the potential for blockchain to change the global economy is greatly underappreciated in today’s market, much like the internet was in the beginning, when most people couldn’t see past its usefulness for email.”
CoinDesk reports that Samsung (KSE:005930) has officially revealed the crypto wallet for their signature Galaxy S10 smartphone. This follows weeks of rumours and speculation on the phone’s alleged crypto features. Upon launch, only Ether (ETH) and Ethereum-based tokens are available on the wallet, though the company says more will follow.
According to an official statement, Germany’s Ministry of Finance has discussed recognition and regulation of blockchain-based securities. The statement claims the purpose of this “aims to strengthen the role of the Federal Republic of Germany as one of the leading digitization and FinTech locations and to develop a blockchain strategy”.
Over in Dubai, real estate giant Emaar has revealed plans to introduce an Ethereum-based digital currency called the Emaar Community Token. Outlet Arabian Business quotes Emaar Properties chairman Mohamed Alabbar:

We have embraced the digital world even as we continue to build the most advanced and innovative physical structures and we use both to delight and benefit our customers and stakeholders globally.
